Recently we've been getting a lot of spam in our e-mail boxes, thanks to various bots grabbing our mail addresses from our contact pages. That's why we decided to put all the info in a .JPG instead. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Of course I also have a LinkedIn profile.
If you would like to send me an encrypted email, or if you would like to verify a signed email I sent you: here is my public PGP key.

Hi Thomas... i came upon your name on this site:
http://www.brassgoggles.co.uk/brassgoggles/?p=569
It's in regards to Haruo Suekichi, and his steampunk watches. Forgive me if i'm being rude, but you mention that you will be travelling to Japan in the new year, and that you are looking to buy a few of his watches.
I am in the same predicament, as I cannot find these watches to be bought online. So... here I am.. asking to know if you will be going to Japan, and if so.. could i place an order with you for 2 of them?
I will pay you for the watch and postage etc from your country, to be sent to me... if you agree.
Lemme know on the above email address.
Thanks.
Nick

I have a very random question for you. How do you pronounce your last name?
Thanks,
Maria

@ Maria:
Coilleach is a gaelic word. You pronounce it "Kwee-lech", where the "ch" is a gutteral sound and -not- the "tsj" in normal english (as in "chocolate"). Think of "Achmed"; it's -that- "ch". :)

Hi I am really excited to see that you have all this info and products about "Grand Prix no taka". I watched only 16 episodes of the series as they were the only ones translated in Greek. I live in the US now and I am wondering if you know if all 44 episodes were translated in English. where Can i buy them if available also is there a place i can buy some of the die casts for this awesome anime. Lookign forward to your email. Thank you

Hi Alex, thank you for your comment!
Sadly I don't believe the series was translated into english at all. I've seen many languages, both with dubs and (fan)subs, but english wasn't one of them. Dubs I know of include finish (what I grew up with), Italian, Greek, French, Spanish and Portugese. Also Arabic I believe. (Fan)subs I know of include spanish, italian, portugese and chinese. The only recent DVD releases (as in, within the last ten years) are Italian DVDs and two japanese box sets which are -very- expensive.
When it comes to the toys it's going to be very tough! You may find some stuff online, on auction sites. Alternatively Arrow Emblem toys sometimes show up in retro toy stores in Japan. You might be interested in a presentation I gave a few years ago, "Hunting for rare Japanese collectibles", which includes my search for Arrow Emblem stuff.
